| Remarks: | The image is letterbox transfer, and sound is 5.1 or 2.0 sound. The image and sound are pretty ok, but unless you have a big TV and a sophisticated audio system, it doesn't really make a big difference no matter you got the VCD or DVD.
Talking about special features, except for the chapter section, there is actually no special features at all. That's why the price of this DVD is quite low, only 10 bucks (hk$) higher than the VCD.
The Chinese subtitles is ok, but the english subtitles are quite bad. There are some awkward sentences, grammatical mistakes, wrong words and too much use of slang or informal words like "buncha", "outta". But in general, you can still understand the content without much problem.
Waterboys is a good film, but it's too bad the DVD is in no way comparable to the film itself. Another bad news is, the Japanese version DVD seems to have no english subtitles, if you don't speak Japanese, the only choice right now is probably this HK DVD.
