Disc review(s)
| Picture: | (29/30) - Black basically perfect, no screen artifacts. Colours very well contrasted, a near perfect picture transfer from Hong Kong Legends.
| Sound: | (30/30) - Tremendous sound transfer by HKL, perfectly using all speakers, the sound really excels in the gun fighting scenes, and you feel like you are there. Excellent.
| Subtitles: | (19/20) - Of the usual high standard of HKL, in other words near perfect translations.
| Extras: | (8/10) - Decent set of extras here, Bey Logan commentary not as good as his other offerings due to the fact that he takes the back seat to Gordon Chan, 14 min interview with Andrew Lin is informative as is the 17min interview with Gordon Chan, though not really expanding into extensive detail. Making of seems to be an advertisement for Aaron Kwok, but it is still decent and has some interesting information to be heard. A solid set of extras.
| Film: | (10/10) - Uncut.
| Grade: | (96/100) - A/A+
| Remarks: | A very good disc from Hong Kong Legends, better than their more recent releases. The sound is superb as is the picture, its sad that this kind of treatment is not given to all films out there. |
