| Picture: | (28/30) - Once again another great print transfer by HKL, you seem to be watching an unmarked print throughout, there are small periods where grain is noticeable but other than that the print is great.
| Sound: | (25/30) - The mix seems very distorted in places and this was not the best attempt by HKL, and annoying the dreadful English dub is the default track.
| Subtitles: | (18/20) - Another well translated and very easy to read subtitles but it seems that some of the more ‘explicit’ dialogue is changed to gain it a 12 certificate.
| Extras: | (9/10) - A very strong set of extras containing interviews with Jackie Chan (3.5 mins), Richard Norton (15 mins), and Gary Daniels (30 mins) There are as usual a large amount of trailers for both the feature and other dvds released by HKL and as usual the commentary is very insightful, there are two biography showcases on this disc, one for Jackie Chan and one for Joey Wong.
| Film: | (10/10) - No noticeable cuts.
| Grade: | (90/100) - A-
| Remarks: | I have not yet managed to review a Hong Kong Legends DVD not worthy of an A grade, the disc is strong in all areas and it is a treat to get a decent set of extras which is so rare among HK distributors. Highly recommended to add to your collection. |
