| Picture: | (25/30) - The blacks are well contrasted with the other colours, they do not overpower and the flesh colours look decent, however the colours are a bit soft.

| Sound: | (25/30) - The mono track sounds good and has a pretty good sound enhancement for a mono track.

| Subtitles: | (11/20) - The downfall of the disc. The subtitles are regularly illegible due to the fact that they are white and especially at the start of the film when there is a lot of white in the background. It causes many problems with reading the subtitles.

| Film: | (6/10) - Two cuts, small cut omitting a scene showing bullets going through head of terrorist girl and another small cut omitting jet li electrocuting and impaling a terrorist.

| Remarks: | A good picture and sound tremendously let down by a significantly poor attempt and subtitles and complete lack of extras, definitely rental only unless you are a fan of the film. Probably the only DVD from Universe that I own that is terribly below what the film deserves (not that I am suggesting that it is a classic, but it deserves more than this below average print, and they call this the Remastered edition.) |
