| Remarks: | The HK DVD version is a two disc package, with disc one featuring the film
and disc two containing all the bonus materials. "Making of" is barely footage from the movie combined with several clips of interviews
extracted from the "interviews" section, so you don't really have to see it if you have seen the "interviews" featuring Andy Lau,
Sammi Cheng and Johnnie To.
The interviews are quite long, but not very well organized, we don't even know what the questions are,
all we can see is the three guests keep talking and talking, which is boring in terms of the visual. The content of the interviews
is also quite repetitive, like, Andy Lau would talk about how well his partnership with Sammi and Johnnie To is for more than ten minutes,
than after a while, he would repeat the same stuff again. In general, the interviews don't really offer anything insightful for those who
want to learn more about the movie.
"Behind the scene" actually touches upon some production stuff, but again, it is not organized very well. Everything is packed together without
any refinement or voice-over narration. It is interesting to watch it in the beginning, but it just begins to drag gradually after a few minutes and you'd lose the patience to see the rest.
Overall speaking, I understand that the company had a good intention to make a good DVD, but they just seem to lack the creativity,
techniques (and maybe money) to do it.
P.S. No english subs for the bonus materials.
