We tell the first Six Kinds of Lies, White Lies, Blatant Lies, Lies of Magnitude, Lies of Misdirection, Partial Truth, and Potential Truth, to get away from consequences. If truth be told, none of us can evade the jinx of The Seventh Lie, Self Deception. The last and the most savage Lie of all.

The Seventh Lie, a fictional film dealing with a disturbing world of treachery, and the unpleasant secrets of human nature, tells the story of four tales interweave in the hours of darkness in Hong Kong City. Ordinary limousine chauffeur Mr. Song claims himself to be a part-time contract hit-man by night. Is he really this enigmatic, provocative and dangerous man he projects himself to be? Or is he just some skirt-chaser who tries to get in the heart of his best friend?s fetching wife Julianne? On the surface, Terrance and Julianne are a perfect husband and wife of the upper crust; underneath they are in the midst of a marriage crisis. Julianne suspects her husband being gay after ten years of miserable married life. She decides to blackmail Terrance and demands to be paid off with a large sum of money by threatening to tell the public his secret. She shares with Mr. Song her cunning plan, and checks into a hotel room with him. After they have sex, she is terrorized by the intimidating persona hidden beneath Mr. Song?s disguise. As her very life is at stake, a Hotel Bellhop has a shifty look about him coincidentally bumps into them. Could this uncalculated disturbance come to the aid of Julianne? Is this ordinary Bellhop really what he appears to be? Or is he a brilliant con-artist who attempts to rip off moneyed guests of the hotel? This mysterious man breaks into a private room of another cheating couple with his practiced hands. The Bellhop examines every single trace left behind by the two lodgers. He stumbles on a silver wedding ring belonged to his unfaithful spouse. Little by little he reconstructed the adultery scene inside his head just like a private investigator. In this very room, he is caught between delusion and reality, and is going to unearth the darkest secret of his life. He locks himself up within this chamber when as he is trapped in his own mind. He swears to god that if he goes through the door, he will never look back at the old life, not even for a moment. A Runaway Bride Gwen makes her getaway from a suite next door, and runs across the heavy-hearted Bellhop. They share a short moment of serenity. Single-mindedly, the Bride carries on with her bolt for freedom. She moves heaven and earth to pull the wool over her pursuers? eyes with the help of The Great Prophet. Is this young charismatic fortune teller really what he professes to be? Or is he just another shameless impostor who attempts to steal Gwen?s heart away? Gwen needs to know if she is marrying the right guy tonight. She demands the truth from the Prophet, the man she used to think was the love of her life. He promises to tell Gwen the truth for once. A nightmarish tale of his past. But can she really trust this man anymore? This night, thelives of these seemingly unassociated souls are interlaced together to face the appalling truth beneath their lies. Lying comes in many forms. In the end, we might not evenaware of the lies we tell ourselves.
